GLL car fog lamp cover-Genleelai

GLL car fog lamp cover

Our GLL fog lamp cover uses carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) as the core material, which has a density of only one-fourth that of steel, but has a tensile strength that exceeds that of traditional metals. This feature enables the product to reduce weight while improving impact resistance by more than 300%. What is more noteworthy is that through the original sandwich structure - 3K carbon fiber plain woven cloth as the surface layer and glass fiber cloth as the inner layer, the product stiffness reaches 1.8 times that of traditional metal parts, while the weight is reduced by 4kg. This structural design not only optimizes the aerodynamic performance of the fog lamp area, but also visually presents the unique texture of carbon fiber.
Different from traditional thermosetting carbon fiber products, GLL has developed an environmentally friendly thermoplastic molding technology. Using polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as the base material and adding acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate (ASA) copolymer, the product maintains dimensional stability under extreme temperature differences of -40°C to 150°C. The nanoscale dispersion process of carbon nanotubes and boron nitride constructs a three-dimensional thermal conductive network. GLL experimental data shows that after working continuously for 6 hours, the surface temperature of the lampshade is 23°C lower than that of traditional plastic parts, effectively delaying thermal aging. The process has obtained national invention patent certification, and the production process achieves zero formaldehyde emissions, which is in line with the green transformation trend of the global automotive industry.
GLL fog lamp cover is innovative, with an optical interface reserved in the design. The fog lamp cover can be deeply integrated with the vehicle system and supports dynamic light and shadow effects. For example, it can project a streamer track when turning and automatically adjust the light transmittance when driving at night. This design not only improves driving safety, but also upgrades the fog lamp cover from a functional component to an emotional interactive interface.
In the production process, our GLL introduced automated molding technology. Through the autoclave molding process, the carbon fiber prepreg and cellulose nanofiber membrane are precisely compounded, so that the product thickness tolerance is controlled within ±0.02mm. Compared with the traditional hand lay-up process, the production efficiency is increased by 400%, and the scrap rate is reduced from 12% to 0.8%. This industrial 4.0-level manufacturing capability reduces the cost of a single product by 35%, providing the possibility for high-end customized services.
