Our GLL front engine underguard is made of aviation-grade aluminum alloy composite material and is made through a multi-layer die-casting process. It achieves a breakthrough in impact resistance while ensuring lightweight. Compared to conventional steel guards, GLL adapts advanced material achieves a 40% weight reduction while simultaneously enhancing bending strength by 150%, providing superior protection against engine/gearbox damage from stone impacts, road vibrations, and minor undercarriage collisions. The surface is treated with nano-ceramic coating, which not only has excellent corrosion resistance (passed 1000 hours of salt spray test), but also greatly reduces the adhesion of mud and sand, extending the service life.
Our GLL uses streamlined curved surface design on the guard plate to guide the airflow through the chassis smoothly, reducing the noise and resistance caused by turbulence. Actual test data shows that after installation, the noise inside the car is reduced by 3-5 decibels, and the fuel consumption is reduced by about 2%-3% when driving at high speed. At the same time, the bottom of the guard plate is integrated with a guide groove structure to accelerate the discharge of rainwater and mud, avoiding the risk of rust caused by water accumulation, especially in rainy and snowy weather.
In view of the differences in chassis structures of different models, GLL has developed an intelligent adaptation system that covers more than 95% of mainstream models. Each guard plate is customized through the original 3D scanning data, with original installation holes and maintenance windows reserved. No drilling or modification is required, and non-destructive installation can be completed within 30 minutes. In addition, the edge of the guard plate adopts a flexible sealing strip design, which fits closely to the chassis contour, eliminates abnormal noise and prevents mud and sand from invading mechanical parts.
